Face palm!

I had a face-palm moment the other day.  Let me share with you what happened. 

I saw my friend, Danny, and I was anxious to thank him because he has been ever-so-faithful about sharing the podcast with his family and friends.  Anyway, I was curious, so I asked him if he had been reading along.  He looked a little sheepish and admitted that he had not because he, like all of us, was watching his budget and didn’t think he could afford it right now. 

I was confused at first and then quickly told him, “Oh, it’s free!” But I could tell by the look on his face that he was trying to reconcile something in his mind.  Then he shrugged and said, “Well, you know…the word, ‘Subscribe’…  That usually means it’s gonna cost you something.”

Face-palm! That never even occurred to me, but it makes so much sense! 

So, if you’re like Danny and you’re wondering how much subscribing to a podcast is going to cost you, don’t worry…you won’t spend a dime.  It just means the podcast will show up in your ‘library’ everyday, and you won’t have to hunt it down.  And if you’re more like me and forget that not everybody knows what you know about podcasts, well, would you just pick up their phone and subscribe for them?  They’ll love you for it!
