I just learned that a dear friend of a friend passed away from Covid-19. I can say now that I know someone who died from this disease.
She was in her eighties and was known far and wide for her gracious hospitality. It made me sad.
We are all so anxious to get back to our lives…without fear, without inconvenience…do all the things we used to. And it’s not bad to want those things! But as stores and restaurants and churches begin to open up, can I suggest we just pause and give thought to how fast we proceed?
Let’s remember to pray constantly for God to give us wisdom, to protect us and others, and to show us the best way forward.
